In this module you will hear directly from general practitioner Dr Magdalena Simonis, Professor Helen O'Connell, leader in urology research and treatment for both men and women, and Dr TJ Ong, geriatrician at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, who consults in the Continence Clinic.

Learning outcomes


By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify patients with overactive bladder
  • Select and prescribe treatment for patients with overactive bladder
  • Educate patients about treatments for overactive bladder
  • Develop a systematic approach to follow up patients with overactive bladder.
