This case study-based activity will look at providing a patient-centric, tailored approach to the optimal management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in general practice.

Learning outcomes


By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  1. Evaluate spirometry results as part of diagnosis and ongoing patient management
  2. Evaluate patient symptoms to determine progression status throughout the patient journey
  3. Assess and prescribe appropriate inhaler devices for patients based on their individual needs.
